Happy New Year! 2013!

I welcome the new year with open arms and a bright smile! May this year be full of laughter and precious memories.

Helloo my blogger readers, happy new year to you all! I hope you celebrated well!

For my years day, me and the family opened up a bottle of sparkling wine, sadly the taste didn't appeal to us but it was worthwhile! I was slightly disappointed with the London new year ceremony this year. It didn't seem to have much going on but at least it brought everyone together. =)

To start off the New Year, I will be doing a battle of the lipbalms because it only seems to be getting colder now where I am =(

Let's introduce the contestants!

Contestant #1 - Blistex's intense moisturiser (Purchased at Superdrug)

Contestant #2 - EOS Sweet Mint Lipbalm (purchased in Colormix)

Contestant #3 - Deary's Q10 lipbalm (purchased in Watsons)

#1 - This lipbalm had been a personal favourite for many years as it provides sufficient moisture and gives a fabulous fresh MIT feeling when applied! Sadly, once applied it leaves a white colour on your lips =( I normally use it before I sleep and when I awaken my lips feel soft and supple!

#2 - 'Woah, intense minty sensation' is what was running through my mind. I personally love minty flavours as it makes my lips feel so fresh and soothed! Provides sufficient moisture in the day time.

#3 - This one gives a lovely plumping effect in the lips and doesn't look overly glossy and fake (hehe) and it's really light. As for moisture it doesn't stay on for long and needs to be continually reapplied every few hours but for the few hours that it is left on it hydrates well. It has a slight scent if rose in it but hardly noticeable.

But overall, I think the ones to definitely try out is the Blistex and EOS lipbalms. #3 has been kicked out of the arena!

- Hope you enjoyed the post!

Garnier Nutrisse truly blonde hair dye Review

Hello! I'm back with another hair dye review by Garnier! I've wanted to go blonde for the longest time, but having Asian hair made this a lot more difficult. Previous people I have spoken to who have also tried to go blonde ended up ginger. Nevertheless, this did not scare me! I was determined! This was my previous colour So, 30 minutes after! Time to rinse! oops, blurry  Indoor lighting (with a terrible front camera) Alright, as you guys can see, it's not blonde bu more yellow. However, at the time I liked it - it was different.  Outdoor lighting  So, I ended up like a strawberry blonde?  In order for me to get to a blonder shade, I needed to bleach again but I quite liked my current colour, so I left it as it is.  My hair condition was surprisingly good after dying and a week or two after! But as you probably guess - the condition deteriorated, leaving my hair dry and brittle.  All is w...

Liese Ash Brown Hair dye *Review*

Helllooooo~ Summer time means lighter hair! (I know, this post is late *sigh*)  So i'm here to tell/show you guys what the Liese Ash brown hair dye is like! - WOOHOO! Ok, above is my hair without dying. It's very dark brown.  and then.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. TADAAAAAAAAAA It actually turned out lighter then I suspected!  I left the dye on for an hour and followed the rest of the instructions as per normal.  My hair felt so soft! As for the colour, I was very pleasantly surprised! The ash tone did turn out well (although it made my face look so tanned *hehe*) and the colour was nice and vibrant. Sadly, after a few washes the ash tone kind of washed out, so now I have a slight red-y tone, but I already new that this would happen. So below, I posted a few more pictures so you can get more of a jist of the colour ^^ Oh...

SANA Soy Milk Whitening Cream *Review*

Hello guys ! Today I'm going to review a product by SANA which is the soy milk whitening cream which was purchased in Hong Kong for HK$89 which is approx. £7.42 !! Packaging : This product actually caught my eye by its packaging as the style was simple yet attractive. The covering was clear and you can see what the actual container of the product looks like which is a plus point. Ingredients : After I picked up this product I looked at the ingredients. I heard that soy milk was good for the skin so I wanted to try out this product. What surprised me was that the product did not react at all with my dry and eczema skin, it actually hydrated it slightly. Texture : The cream is actually a gel. The product smoothes nicely onto the face but it leaves a 'film' on your face which keeps in moisture (makes your face look oily hehe), so i wouldn't recommend using it right before you go out =P ! Whitening : To begin with, I didn't see much effect on my skin and I...
