Wonder Pore Freshner & It's Skin Serums *REVIEW*

Hellloooo~

I've recently made some purchases from RoseRoseShop. This is my third time ordering from there and I recommended you visit! Everything always goes so smoothly and shipping is relatively quick!

I would like to share my thoughts and opinions on some of the items.

4 Serums from it's skin, wonder pore toner & face masks

All wrapped up safely

It's Skin Power formula 30 ml (from left to right) - GF Effector, CO Effector, VC Effector, WH Effector

GF Effector

CO Effector

VC Effector

WH Effector

Volume markings - I guess it's used to help you to figure out how much you have left?
Although, I personally think it's there for decoration.

It comes with a squeezy bulb as it's a pipette.
Remind me of a pacifier *How cute*~

This is the first one I tried.
I've never really invested much on serums since my skin is still rather young and not quite fully mature yet. The funniest time was when I used an anti-aging cream on my face (I had it free with my Avon order) and it broke me out like MAD! That was the first time I ever broke out bearing in mind I was probably around 14 years old. After that I vowed never to use anything specifically formulated for anti-aging purposes until my skin matured.

Anyway, going back to my purchased items.

Wonder Pore Freshner:
(Taken directly from Roseroseshop)

So it says it has 7 functions in 1:
  • Deep cleanses pores
  • Maintains skin pH of 4.5
  • Controls sebum production
  • Minimize appearance of pores
  • Refine skin tones
  • Keep the elasticity of pores
  • Moisturize the skin inside and out
I've now used this for approx. 3 months but it's been on and off since I've recently had some major health and diet problems which in turn lead me to break out (possibly the worst ever in my life) and only now it's starting to heal. In the times that I have used it I think it's a invest-able product. It definitely moisturizes my skin and whilst looking over the cotton pad I used in conjunction, there is visible residue which has been extracted from my face. I for one don't have much sebum build up since I have dry skin so can't comment on that =/. Concerning the minimization of pores, I can't see a reduction in them but I'd assume that you'd have to use this product for an extended amount of time to see results. Sorry guys, but I can't comment on whether it maintains my skin at pH 4.5 since I rarely (don't) take a pH meter to my face... but let's just assume it does. ;P

VC Effector (for some reason they didn't have this full bottle one on the site anymore T.T)
Enhance skin vitality & rhythm recovery!!
Vitamin C derivativeswhitening ingredient of the best combinations to give a bright and brightening effects, as well as elongated pores and relax the tightening effect survives, so punch!

CO Effector is the first and only one I've tried out (so far). I've read many of the reviews for these serums so I thought I'd try it out since it was on offer too! But, sadly it didn't work as I intended. I wore it for 3 days and started breaking out. My guess is that it was because of the fragrance in it. Since my skin is sensitive, this might have been the cause. The VC Effector also has a scent to it. Fragerence aside the serum was water based and easily applied to the skin. It also absorbed very quickly too!

I'll try out the other ones too and update you guys so stay tuned! ^^

Serums Galore!
I will also be attending the anti-ageing beauty show in London this weekend! So Excited *.* My first ever Health and Beauty live show! I'll remember to take lots of pictures and share the tips I learn =D
...Until next time!

  2. I haven't seen these products around! I absolutely love serums- I don't think you can ever be too young to start them. The packaging looks so nice and I really like the volume markings on them too, how helpful :P The GF Effector stands out to me, as my skin is always so dehydrated. Definitely would like to hear your thoughts on it!

Garnier Nutrisse truly blonde hair dye Review

Hello! I'm back with another hair dye review by Garnier! I've wanted to go blonde for the longest time, but having Asian hair made this a lot more difficult. Previous people I have spoken to who have also tried to go blonde ended up ginger. Nevertheless, this did not scare me! I was determined! This was my previous colour So, 30 minutes after! Time to rinse! oops, blurry  Indoor lighting (with a terrible front camera) Alright, as you guys can see, it's not blonde bu more yellow. However, at the time I liked it - it was different.  Outdoor lighting  So, I ended up like a strawberry blonde?  In order for me to get to a blonder shade, I needed to bleach again but I quite liked my current colour, so I left it as it is.  My hair condition was surprisingly good after dying and a week or two after! But as you probably guess - the condition deteriorated, leaving my hair dry and brittle.  All is w...

Liese Ash Brown Hair dye *Review*

Helllooooo~ Summer time means lighter hair! (I know, this post is late *sigh*)  So i'm here to tell/show you guys what the Liese Ash brown hair dye is like! - WOOHOO! Ok, above is my hair without dying. It's very dark brown.  and then.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. TADAAAAAAAAAA It actually turned out lighter then I suspected!  I left the dye on for an hour and followed the rest of the instructions as per normal.  My hair felt so soft! As for the colour, I was very pleasantly surprised! The ash tone did turn out well (although it made my face look so tanned *hehe*) and the colour was nice and vibrant. Sadly, after a few washes the ash tone kind of washed out, so now I have a slight red-y tone, but I already new that this would happen. So below, I posted a few more pictures so you can get more of a jist of the colour ^^ Oh...

SANA Soy Milk Whitening Cream *Review*

Hello guys ! Today I'm going to review a product by SANA which is the soy milk whitening cream which was purchased in Hong Kong for HK$89 which is approx. £7.42 !! Packaging : This product actually caught my eye by its packaging as the style was simple yet attractive. The covering was clear and you can see what the actual container of the product looks like which is a plus point. Ingredients : After I picked up this product I looked at the ingredients. I heard that soy milk was good for the skin so I wanted to try out this product. What surprised me was that the product did not react at all with my dry and eczema skin, it actually hydrated it slightly. Texture : The cream is actually a gel. The product smoothes nicely onto the face but it leaves a 'film' on your face which keeps in moisture (makes your face look oily hehe), so i wouldn't recommend using it right before you go out =P ! Whitening : To begin with, I didn't see much effect on my skin and I...
