Princess Mimi Chocolate Brown Contact Lens Review

After having blue eyes for an extended period of time, I thought it was time to change to a more subtle and softer look for winter, especially having dyed my hair darker (As seen on the previous post here).
Since I hadn't worn brown coloured lenses in so long, I was super shocked at how well the enlargement effect was!

I got my lenses from koreabigeyes.com, where the shipping was super quick! I received my parcel after 1-2 weeks of purchasing!

The Princess Mimi were A LOT comfier than my previous contacts, however they still weren't the best. My eyes would get pretty dry after around 6 hours. It's not recommended to wear your lenses for more than 8 hours, but I do tend to have them in for 10-12 hours some days depending on my work load and the activities I have on that day (uni life), so comfort is very important to me but as I mentioned earlier, if you only have then in for a couple of hours, they are completely fine!

So the contacts costed $16.99 and including shipping ($6) gives a total of $22.99. Converting that into sterling for the current rate then was £15.37. Taking into consideration of its price, I'd say that these contact lenses are very decent and a good value for money, especially as they are yearly disposable (with correct care).

To conclude, I think they are a great pair of affordable, enlarging  and sight correcting contact lenses and I would definitely recommend them to you!

Base circumference : 8.6 mm
Diameter: 15.0 mm
Water Content: 38%
Material: Poly 2 - HEMA
Enlargement: *****
Comfort:****

So I posted a few pictures of the blue one so you guys can see the difference in enlargement and how the both give off a different "feel". The problem with this is that my hair is also different because I just dyed it, so try to look past it? 😖

Again, the blue one isn't a completely crazy colour but is pigmentated enough to show quite visibly on very dark brown eyes. The photos above were taken in natural light. Using artificial light the colour doesn't show up as well.
Comfort wise, the blue wasn't the best. It was slightly drier than the ones I've normally worn, but this could be due to the fact that I accidently slept in them.

Liese Ash Brown Hair dye *Review*

Helllooooo~ Summer time means lighter hair! (I know, this post is late *sigh*)  So i'm here to tell/show you guys what the Liese Ash brown hair dye is like! - WOOHOO! Ok, above is my hair without dying. It's very dark brown.  and then.... .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. .. TADAAAAAAAAAA It actually turned out lighter then I suspected!  I left the dye on for an hour and followed the rest of the instructions as per normal.  My hair felt so soft! As for the colour, I was very pleasantly surprised! The ash tone did turn out well (although it made my face look so tanned *hehe*) and the colour was nice and vibrant. Sadly, after a few washes the ash tone kind of washed out, so now I have a slight red-y tone, but I already new that this would happen. So below, I posted a few more pictures so you can get more of a jist of the colour ^^ Oh...

Garnier Nutrisse truly blonde hair dye Review

Hello! I'm back with another hair dye review by Garnier! I've wanted to go blonde for the longest time, but having Asian hair made this a lot more difficult. Previous people I have spoken to who have also tried to go blonde ended up ginger. Nevertheless, this did not scare me! I was determined! This was my previous colour So, 30 minutes after! Time to rinse! oops, blurry  Indoor lighting (with a terrible front camera) Alright, as you guys can see, it's not blonde bu more yellow. However, at the time I liked it - it was different.  Outdoor lighting  So, I ended up like a strawberry blonde?  In order for me to get to a blonder shade, I needed to bleach again but I quite liked my current colour, so I left it as it is.  My hair condition was surprisingly good after dying and a week or two after! But as you probably guess - the condition deteriorated, leaving my hair dry and brittle.  All is w...

Barcelona

This was the first trip i've ever gone with a group of friends; consisting of three people, excluding me. Two of which I had met through my University Halls and the other was my flatmates' friend from home. This experience was scary yet exciting. I would have never thought of going abroad with friends, as I have never felt that I would be very safe. However, I felt comfortable with my flatmates and hoping that I would be comfortable with the other friend too. The first day was not the best since I was quite badly ill from going out the night before we flew for a friends birthday. I remember waking up and feeling incredibly dizzy. I slept for a while, then ate some Pandol and slept again. I woke up refreshed! That Panadol was so strong! It probably had enhanced effects on me because I rarely take medicine when i'm unwell. The days consisted of walking, taking more photo's and walking again. We didn't really have a plan so we just improvised as the day came, which...
